The Brain Infinite Loop

Have you ever noticed your brain doing that thing where it gets stuck on something, and you can't seem to focus on anything else no matter how hard you try? Whenever that happens to me, I call it a "brain infinite loop." And yes, I am a computer nerd.
I'm going to tell on myself a little bit -- I TOTALLY did this to myself this week. I had a very unpleasant (and completely unprovoked!) interaction with someone this week, and I wasn't able to resolve the situation before I went to sleep on Monday night, so my brain did this. I got stuck in an infinite loop. It went pretty much exactly like you see in George's little program, in the comic.
I hate it when that happens! And then I get mad at myself for being angry because I think by now I should just "know better" and, you know, not have totally valid emotions. ;-)
I ended up resolving the situation the next day, which made me feel much better, but when my brain gets stuck like this, sometimes it takes someone else to give me a loving CTRL-ALT-DELETE and snap me out of it. :-)
